Recent Housing Study Shows Need
The City of New Albany completed a housing study earlier this year to learn about the current housing stock in New Albany as well as future projections and needs. The data showed a clear need for more housing in New Albany.
Shoreline and Trails Offer New Options
Since 2015, New Albany has experienced a 28.1% increase in the total number of home sales. This indicates that more people are buying homes in New Albany, but the housing stock currently available is not enough to keep up with the demand. The New Albany Shoreline and connected trails system will provide numerous options for additional housing along either the trail system itself or on properties near the New Albany Shoreline.
